Network

In the meantime, a transnational network has developed in the framework of the SATURN project.
Heimatgarten cooperates with several NGO’s in the Ukraine, for example “Faith, Love, Hope”. This organisation mostly takes care for women, who were victims of human trafficking. With SATURN, now a computer course for these women is installed and equipped.
The “Sympathy” Foundation helps returned refugees in public shelters with the reintegration in the social environment. Here, help for traumatised people who return with SATURN can be offered because of ongoing experiences with the contact with refugees from crisis areas.
The NGO NEEKA gains financial support from the Austrian Caritas and with the assistance of this organisation, the public shelter in Mukatschewko was established, which belongs to the migration office in Uzhgorod. Here, SATURN refugees can fin habitation.
One of the most important partners of SATURN is Igor Gnat’s Centre for social integration. For more than ten years, Gnat helps the victims of human trafficking. He takes women back who were forced into prostitution abroad. After their return, he helps them with qualification and the search for a job. The office of this foundation is located in the inner city of Lvov.

The German Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Ukraine, “DELKU” takes care for elder people, supports orphans and assists Russian Germans with the reintegration in the Ukraine. The church cooperates with SATURN as well and can help with the care and support of elderly people, who return to the Ukraine as a part of the project.

The Christian University in Odessa offers modules for social working, further education seminars and different courses like economics or language classes in the framework of SATURN.
Governmental organisations as well engage themselves for SATURN, in the meantime cooperation contracts were signed with the offices for migration in Uzhgorod and Odessa.
For Spring 2009, an international conference in Kiev is planned in cooperation with the National Committee of the Ukraine for questions of nationalities and religion, including the invitation of many high ranking experts.
